Hi there,

Welcome to my blog and thanks for popping in! Please take a look around to find out more about me, my books and my writing journey. I really enjoy sharing my experiences about my path to publication and beyond, so do look out for my blog posts or vlogs on this topic 🙂

I write women’s fiction and am best known for the popular #LoveLondon series (published by HarperImpulse, now One More Chapter) and some of those novellas charted in the Amazon UK Holiday charts, with one – Valentine’s on Primrose Hill – shortlisted for an award. Two #LoveLondon ebooks were released in Italy in 2018, which was very exciting as I have Italian heritage on my mum’s side. I’ve also released several short stories, one of which was in the RNA Anthology Truly, Madly, Deeply, featuring stories by best-sellers such as Katie Fforde, Adele Parks and Carole Matthews. My first commercial women’s fiction novel – The Last Charm – set in my beautiful home county of Dorset will be published under the pen name of Ella Allbright in August 2020. I’m represented by the fabulous Hattie Grunewald at The Blair Partnership agency, and she’s contactable on Twitter via @Hatteatime.

The below grid gives you a bit of a flavour as to who I am and what I love doing… including trips, writing, reading, hanging out with friends, and drinking wine (also moving house at Christmas, which seemed like a good idea at the time…!)

I love writing and sharing my stories with people, and when I get tweets or Facebook messages from someone saying they’ve stayed up until 2.00 a.m. to finish one of my books, or that something I’ve written really touched them, it’s the best feeling in the world 🙂 and I always reply.

I’m an avid reader and try to review as many books as I can, usually on Amazon. Reviews are so important to authors, and I’d encourage you to write reviews to help spread the word about amazing books. I currently love reading domestic thrillers, psychological thrillers, police procedurals and up-lit.
